02 / Commission

Freelance and consulting.

For freelance and consulting work, the clearest starting point is the Urban Heat Diagnostic, a fixed-scope, two-week discovery service for teams with a heat, place or climate-adaptation decision that existing maps do not resolve. The first step is always a 30-minute problem interview: if the diagnostic is not the right route, the conversation ends with a clear no-go or a more appropriate next step. The Market Lab brief sets out this and its workforce counterpart, the Geospatial Workforce Evidence Sprint, as bounded offers with inputs, outputs and exclusions.

Working with the public sector: I work to an open methodology, so every figure can be traced to its source and method, and I build to the WCAG 2.2 AA commitment set out in my accessibility statement.

03 / Fund

Grants, residencies and commissions.

For panels, residencies and commissioned work, the selected works page is a self-contained portfolio: a practice statement and five works, with images, on a single page. The artist CV sits alongside it, with work titles, education and public engagement in exhibition form.

04 / Collaborate

Research and collaboration.

For research collaboration, guest lectures and academic work, the academic CV records education, research and public engagement in full. I am most useful at the edge of data, cities and ecology, where a method has to survive honest validation and still speak to the people it describes.

I also keep a small research panel: occasional notes on urban heat and spatial-evidence work, sent by plain email when there is something worth sharing, and never marketing.
